Socialise runs the back office for UK societies, clubs and charities. Your committee keeps the register, approves members, sends renewals and takes payments from one portal. Members join, renew and pay on your own Members hub, and your website links to it.
What stays yours
- Your website. We don't host it or change it.
- Your money. Payments go to your own Stripe account and bank. We take no cut.

Everything your membership secretary, treasurer and club leads do, in one portal your trustees control. Each volunteer sees only what their role needs.
The membership register
Members, households, juniors and contacts in one register, with member numbers, classes and standing worked out for you. Search it, filter it and export it to a spreadsheet at any time.
Joining and renewals
People apply on your Members hub and confirm their email, and your membership team approves each application. Renewal invitations and reminders go out on your dates, with one pay link per household.
Payments into your own Stripe
Members pay by card or Pay by Bank through Payment Links in your own Stripe account, straight to your bank. We never hold your money and take no cut. Cash and cheques are recorded with a second person's check.
Email and printed letters
Member email from your own domain, one member per email, with unsubscribing and preferences handled for you. Members without email get a printed letter for every notice, ready to post.
Gift Aid
Online and paper Gift Aid declarations kept with each donor, using the declaration wording you choose, and a claim schedule ready to paste into HMRC's Gift Aid schedule spreadsheet.
Event tickets
Public and members-only ticket prices for your events, sold through your own Stripe Payment Links, with a printable door list for the night.
Clubs, with welfare checks
Clubs and groups, each with its own lead who sees only their own club's members. Welfare check-ins help you notice members who have stopped coming.
Venue hire
If you hire out a hall, people can send a hire enquiry from your website, and your team follows each one from enquiry to quote to booking.
Continuity export
Every week an encrypted copy of your register, open payments and Payment Links goes to your trustees, with a one-page plan for keeping membership running without us.
Plugs into the website you already have
Keep your WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or hand-built site. Socialise adds three things, and none of them needs a developer.
Links
Join, Renew, Donate and My membership buttons that link to your Members hub, for example members.yourdomain.org.uk/join. Nothing to install.
A widget
Paste one snippet to show your events, your clubs or a venue hire form on any page. It takes your accent colour, and it uses no iframes and no cookies.
A feed
A calendar feed members can add to Google, Apple or Outlook calendars, and a data feed your web person can use however they like.

Switching from Wild Apricot
Send us your Wild Apricot export and we import it for you. Nothing is final until your team has checked it.
- 1Export your contacts from Wild Apricot, including archived contacts, and send the files to us the way we suggest, not by ordinary email.
- 2We run a dry run first: a report of every member, household, membership level and renewal date as Socialise will see them. Your membership secretary checks it before anything is imported.
- 3We import it, and your team checks the register in the portal.
- 4You connect Stripe and swap the membership links on your website for your Members hub, well before your renewal season.
